Morri's Place

Morri has created a menu that will tempt the fussiest eaters and lovers of his style of international cuisine. Delights to sample include traditional dishes like schnitzel, grain fed eye fillet, and seafood linguini. Then there are some old favorites like Prawns Malay (A spicy sweet prawns dish created by Morri 20 years ago and still unbeatable, fillet au poivre (eye fillet with green peppercorn and brandy sauce).

We are constantly updating and changing our specials based on seasons and availability of fresh produce. Some of the favorites at the moment include:

A traditional classic - French Onion Soup, regarded by many regular customers as "the best they have ever had"
Goats cheese and pumpkin tortelli in a napoli sauce
Beef cheek and oxtail ragu with caramelized shallots, mushrooms, red wine and herbs – slow, cooked and served with mash.
Baby lamb rump rubbed with Morrocan spices and baked until tender, served on a bed of saffron rissoni.
For those who love it there is a delicious tripe dish cooked in the French tradition with tomatoes, wine and herbs.
Customers cannot go past our Patagonian toothfish - pan seared then baked and served with stir fried vegetables and finished with a light sweet soy Asian sauce.
The popular dessert for these cold nights is sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce.
